The Evolution of Our Collaboration

For those working in manufacturing, it is well known how important product quality monitoring is.

The collaboration with Monosuisse began with performing reverse engineering sequences for several outdated products, followed by the challenge of developing a production quality monitoring system for special monofilaments.

The system specially created for Monosuisse monitors the quality of the produced wires, allowing, at the end of each production cycle, the separation of quality 1 wires from quality 2 or 3 ones. The quality of these wires plays an essential role in the industries where they are used.

From these extremely thin wires (10-15 µm), filters are made for the medical or aerospace industry, for example, where a single imperfection can compromise an entire system.

The system built for the production lines has the capability to detect imperfections at very high speeds (up to 2,000 m/minute).

The system operates 24/7, 365 days a year, with an uptime of 99% from 2022 to the present.

This project represents a clear example of how technical expertise and understanding customer needs can transform production processes, increasing efficiency and ensuring high quality standards.
